The Five Solas VBS Guidebook
The Five Solas is the central message of the 15th-century Reformation. The Reformers fought to reform (go back to the original) the message of the Gospel, which proclaims:
Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, according to the Scriptures alone, for the glory of God alone.
Although the words of the Five Solas are in Latin and may seem difficult for children to understand, these fundamental principles are essential for all Christians to believe. This VBS curriculum was created to help deliver these timeless truths to children in a Christ-honoring and developmentally appropriate manner. I pray that church leaders, parents, and teachers are faithful and diligent in teaching the next generation the whole counsel of the Word of God, starting with this most important message of the Five Solas.
